As a designer with an active (perhaps imaginative) mind, it's easy to get an idea for a new project. It's easy to get excited and dive into the joy of design.
But the wise designer does not simply dive in. Instead, they ask two questions before they start their new project:
- Who is it for?
- What does it do for them?
Knowing who a product is for and what it is supposed to do (for them) makes designing its features and content so much easier. This—in turn—means your product will better serve your customers. And that's a good thing.
