I've run countless games for many different groups over the years. In that time play style has varied enormously. I've run games for the grizzled and cautious old-timers and games for a younger more gung-ho generation of gamers.
It doesn't really matter what game or system you play. Whether you could play in a 5e, Pathfinder or an OSR game, successful dungeon delves have many things in common. I think you can boil down the essential tactics or practises of dungeon delving to 10 commandments. Behold.
